Binance, the global blockchain platform serving over 230 million users worldwide, has launched the Binance Traders League, an event offering over $10 million in crypto rewards, making it the platform’s most significant competition to date. The league is set to run from 8 October to 28 October 2024 and includes both individual and team challenges designed to engage traders of all experience levels.
The Traders League includes two main competition leagues: the Spot Traders League and the Futures Traders League, each offering significant rewards. The Spot Traders League features a rolling prize pool of up to $3 million in BNB token vouchers, while the Futures Traders League offers up to $7 million in USDT token vouchers. Binance aims to foster community engagement and inclusivity through this initiative, encouraging both seasoned traders and newcomers to participate.
Rachel Conlan, Binance’s Chief Marketing Officer, commented on the importance of the event, saying, “The Binance Traders League is part of our mission to make crypto trading accessible and exciting for everyone, no matter their experience level. With a low qualifying volume and diverse competition criteria, we’re creating a space where retail traders can compete alongside larger ones. Every participant has the chance to learn, grow, and earn rewards for their efforts.”
Spot Traders League
Participants in the Spot Traders League will compete based on their total trading volume and return on investment (ROI) percentage during the event. The top participants will share up to $1.5 million in BNB token vouchers. Additional bonuses are available, with a separate pool of $200,000 in USDC to be shared through limited-time tasks that encourage traders to explore Spot Copy Trading and Trading Bots.
Trading for the Spot League runs from 8 October to 28 October, and more information about the competition can be found on Binance’s official website.
Futures Traders League
The Futures Traders League will offer even more lucrative rewards, with a total prize pool of $7 million USDT. The competition is divided into Solo ROI and Team PNL categories, giving participants multiple ways to compete. First-time Futures traders can also share in a welcome bonus of up to $700,000 USDT.
Team competition registration begins on 10 October, with trading scheduled from 17 October to 6 November. Solo traders can begin competing on 8 October, with their league ending on 28 October.
Inclusive Approach
In line with Binance’s commitment to accessibility, the league is open to regular and VIP users with trading volumes as low as $500 for spot competitions. Futures traders can qualify based on their trading activity starting from early 2024. This low entry threshold is aimed at ensuring that retail traders can compete alongside more established players.
Competition winners will be ranked based on their ROI, profit and loss (PNL), or trading volume, providing a balanced playing field for all participants. By offering multiple ranking criteria, Binance hopes to encourage a broad spectrum of traders to join and take part in the event.
This year’s Binance Traders League sets a new benchmark for crypto competitions, underscoring the company’s commitment to supporting its users and fostering a global trading community. More information on the Binance Traders League can be found here.
