Additionally, a TikTok user shared that over 60 people were leaving as she arrived, noting that guests suggested she go bar-hopping with them instead, demonstrating the general disenchantment with the event.
The company assured attendees that they are reviewing resolution options and promised to communicate these shortly.
These comparisons only intensified the negative perception, further fuelling demands for refunds and accountability from the organisers.
A performer hired for the evening, who was informed of her role just a few hours before the event, expressed her regret, stating her aim was to bring joy to the event, but she was aware of how unhappy the guests were.
