The Future Investment Initiative (FII) Institute has announced the full programme and a lineup of distinguished speakers for the highly anticipated FII8 Conference, scheduled to take place from October 28-31, 2024, at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh.
FII8 will kick off with two dynamic pre-summits on October 28: the New Africa Summit and HERizon Summit. The New Africa Summit aims to explore opportunities across various sectors in Africa while addressing the evolving risk landscape on the continent. Meanwhile, the HERizon Summit will highlight the crucial role of women in driving global economic growth and shaping the future of healthcare, alongside other pressing topics.
Following the framework established by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and COP29, FII8 aims to shine a light on the most critical challenges facing the world today. These include pressing issues in finance, energy, investment, policy, artificial intelligence, business, climate change, and innovation. The influential conference will bring together world leaders, changemakers, and thought pioneers to develop tangible solutions and foster impactful collaborations between governments and businesses.
Key speakers at the event include prominent figures such as H.E. Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Group Chairman and CEO of DP World; Stéphane Bancel, CEO of Moderna Therapeutics; Shou Zi Chew, CEO of TikTok; Laurence D. With over 180 panels and more than 500 speakers, FII8 will host sessions focused on geoeconomics, banking and investments, artificial intelligence, and technology and innovation.
